Palindrome for July
July 1st, 2008July already! Summer finally started here a few days ago (after a long wet cold spring) and it has been hot!
Too hot to hoot!
Nope, no hooting going on around here, no sir.

June 11th, 2008We’re doing the Oxbow CSA this year! It’s so exciting! Our first box came yesterday, and it was full of beautiful things. As you can see.
In fact, there are a number of items that didn’t make it into the picture (I was just doing some prep for dinner and suddenly realized I had to take a picture because it was so lovely) like two big heads of gorgeous lettuce and bunches of spinach and rainbow chard. YUM YUM VEGETABLES!
Palindrome for June
June 3rd, 2008The new palindrome is here! The new palindrome is here!
Step on no pets.
It’s a contrast from the past few. True that it’s leaning toward a PSA sort of feeling there, yes. So be it.
Water baby
May 21st, 2008Little M had a chance to play in a fountain a bit on Sunday. I was SO glad I had my camera with me.
The fountain is neat — it’s got turtles and frogs, the water arcs out of the mouths. One comes on, then about ten seconds later it goes off and another comes on, then a whole bunch come on at once, then they all go off. Then one comes on….
By the end of the video, a small crowd had gathered. Some were taking pictures and videos of their own. Most of the voices in the video (besides hers) are other spectators, sometimes talking about her, sometimes talking to their own children in the fountain.
So now you see the sheer volume of cuteness we are living with on a daily basis. It is a veritable Live Action Cute Overload extravaganza over here. (And every day we know how lucky we are.)
