A while back a friend and I were browsing through the OED and found an amusing word: popelican.

Later I happened to remember the word while I was out with M at the wwah, so I wrote it on a coaster for the amusement of everyone at the table.

Weeks passed, then M noticed the coaster again, at a different table — it must have migrated. It was definitely the coaster from before, except it had a few other words written under my “popelican:”

A few days ago I started playing an rpg called Kingdom of Loathing. It’s my first such game, not much progress so far but it’s entertaining. In the game my name is OuchyBaby. Something my niece used to say.

M. says this game is a gateway to SCA, but I am not afraid.

We woke up to a bunch more snow on Sunday morning! whee!

Were up and out the door before 10 to go for a walk before it started to melt. Beautiful.

We got a bit of snow!

I hardly slept at all last night, had to wake up every half hour and look at the snow. It was great.
