I just learned that Miz Jackie is heading to India in a few days! For ten weeks! Woo hoo! Have a great time, Jackie.
Last week the governor announced that Washington’s quarter will be the wrong one. This is the one it was supposed to be:
Definitely the best of the three choices. Somehow, it came in last in the voting. (There was a public online vote before the final decision.)

Those are nice, but they’ve got nothing on the whale one.
These are good, but I have to say they might be too sour. Impossible, you think? I thought so too, but these… they hurt. What’s more, they actually make me a little bit dizzy. Just for a few seconds, but still. It’s weird.
The cherry ones are not quite so intense — no dizzy spells, anyway — so I’d go with them for a first try if I were you.
Lately I’ve been reading through the seemingly endless archives of Sarah Bunting’s advice column, The Vine, and I’m enjoying it very much. I heart Sars. Apparently, though, this new pastime is having a, hmm, shall we say, a reducing effect on my writing and posting here. What with the giant time sink it’s turning out to be. And that just won’t do, now, will it? Seriously, though, if you have a lot of time on your hands, have a look at her stuff. It’s good stuff. And I love the head-shaving video. Ah, memories…
